The Supplementary Issue on Sharing Lessons and Experiences on Harnessing Digital Technologies to Facilitate Learning, Research and Outreach” is inspired by the innovative approaches deployed by several higher education and research institutions to remain functional during the COVID-19 lockdowns. Virtual engagements for teaching and learning have become the norm rather than the exception. Digital technologies are also becoming more widely used to share information including for extension delivery services.
